Bingo Games

Bingo is one of the most enjoyed games that is played all over the world and continues to remain a favorite at parties and as a clubhouse game. The game is simple and easy to understand and is thus played with a lot of enthusiasm from the young to the young at heart.
Bingo is usually played in a hall that can accommodate large numbers of people. Each player gets a bingo ticket, which is a 5 *5 grid with 24 boxes filled with random numbers. A designated caller selects bingo balls from a bowl and calls out the number that is present on the ball. If this number is present in the ticket, then that square is marked. Whoever finishes marking all his/ her squares calls out Bingo and wins the game. There are generally prizes for those who finish each of the rows first and a grand prize for the person who finishes all the squares first. Sometimes there are additions to the game that include prizes for the person who finishes the four corner squares first.
The caller calls out the numbers really fast and the players need to be very attentive. The game stops when a caller calls out Bingo, his ticket is verified to see if all the numbers in the ticket have been called out. Then the prize is awarded and the game continues till all the prizes have been claimed. A new game may be started at the end of one.
